基本信息
蔡宗远,长聘教轨副教授,博士生导师。于2008年获菁英留学奖学金,至英国伦敦帝国理工学院跟随英国皇家工程院院士Andrew Amis教授学习;2010年获得台湾大学医学工程学博士;2011年至2016年4月任美国哈佛医学院/麻省总医院骨科部博士后、讲师。2016年5月加盟上海交通大学生物医学工程学院,并加入上海交通大学医学院附属第九人民医院,中国工程院院士戴尅戎教授所领导的,医学3D打印创新研究中心以及教育部数字医学临床转化工程研究中心。现任美国骨科研究学会会员(Active Member of Orthopaedic Research Society) ;美国骨科研究协会年会髋膝关节植入物组学术委员;第14届国际生物力学协会(International Society of Biomechanics),3D人体动作分析会议,医学影像分会场组主席,医学影像专题论文审查委员。累计发表100+篇SCI论文, 160+篇国际会议论文,其中9篇论文荣获最佳或优秀论文奖;参编骨科临床专著《The Adult Hip》;有限元分析专著《ABAQUS从入门到进阶》。担任Annals of Joint 期刊编辑委员,数本SCI期刊审稿委员,包括“Journal of Biomechanics”, “Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehablitation”, “Medicine”, “Medical Physics”, “PLoS One”, “Medical Engineering and Physics”, “BioMedical Engineering OnLine”, “BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders”, “Journal of Mechanics in Medicine and Biology”, “International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery”, “Biomedical Engineering, Application, Basis and Communication”等等。
Introduction
Tsung-Yuan Tsai, Associate Professor, doctoral supervisor of School of Biomedical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Tsung-Yuan Tsai was awarded a scholarship to pursue research at Mechanical Engineering, Imperial College London, mentored by Prof. Andrew A. Amis, a Member of the Royal Academy of Engineering . Tsung-Yuan Tsai received his PhD degree from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at National Taiwan University in 2010. From 2011 to April 2016, Tsung-Yuan Tsai was a postdoctoral fellow and lecturer in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. In May 2016, he joined the School of Biomedical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Medical 3D printing Innovation Research Center and Engineering Research Center of Digital Medicine and Clinical Translation, Ministry of education led by Professor Kerong Dai, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering. Tsung-Yuan Tsai is an Active Member of Orthopaedic Research Society; the Member of the ORS Orthopaedic Implants Section; the chairman of medical imaging branch, the review committee of medical imaging monograph in 14th International Society of Biomechanics, 3D human motion analysis conference. Dr. Tsai has published more than 70 SCI papers and 160 International Conference papers, among which 8 papers won the best or excellent paper award; participated in the compilation of orthopedic clinical monographs The Adult Hip and finite element analysis monograph Introduction to Finite Element Analysis using ABAQUS. Tsung-Yuan Tsai is the editorial board member of the journal of Annals of Joint, and the reviewer of a series of SCI journals, such as Journal of Biomechanics, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehablitation, Medicine, Medical Physics, PLoS One, Medical Engineering and Physics, BioMedical Engineering OnLine, BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders, Journal of Mechanics in Medicine and Biology, International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery, Biomedical Engineering, Application, Basis and Communication, etc.

研究方向
骨科工程、运动科学、影像生物力学、计算生物力学。
通过MATLAB软件开发与医学图像处理,开展涵盖骨骼-肌肉系统工程学及人体动作分析领域相关科研工作,服务于骨科、康复医学以及运动医学等多个临床学科。于美国学习工作期间与骨科植入物领域领先的跨国企业,包括Stryker、MAKO、Zimmer、Biomet等合作,执行多项横向科研计划,深入开展人体骨骼肌肉系统研究,探索术前术后骨科植入物的功能评估方案,系统分析骨科相关疾病的致病机制,为新性能医疗器械的研发提供有力的支撑。
